10/18/12

October 6, 2012, Saturday Part 1

Leaving Bradford Pennsylvania and visiting the Marilla Reservoir
at 10am.  We are in the Allegheny's.

Marilla is a Celtic term meaning "Shining Sea".

Oh look Carol, I think there are some photographers ahead on the trail.

Yes, there they are, I hope we don't get in their way.

I can't help it...where ever I go, men fall at my feet.......

Okay, I can explain....what I can't explain is why this is the only photo of the situation that Carol took....anyway, this is the photography class instructor, and he liked my red shoes.  And asked if he could use my shoes and his fish eye lens to do a lesson.  What could I say?  Actually, it was fun, and after he had his camera set, he had a student walk behind me on the trail and there is a photo somewhere, with my legs and red shoes framing the student in her red coat walking on the trail.  And Carol had to spend the rest of the day, if not the rest of our trip...with a Super Model.

And back to the car and off we go again.
We stop at the Allegany Forest to take pictures and hopefully not feed the bears!

Ah...what?

That's what I thought I read......

And now off to visit Punxsutawney Phil...by way of the National Scenic Byway"....that's where we saw the dead bear.  Okay, it looked like a dead bear, but it was a dead deer by the side of the road.

Beautiful drive, just no where to pull off and take pictures..so those are all in our heads.  Sorry, we can't share.
